May 07 - Not that camera again mum!

Joey is starting speech therapy, waiting for other therapy for his dyspraxia, and playing lots of games with mum in the mean time. He can read about a dozen words, knows his numbers 1-10 and all his colours. He's also rediscovering the power of "No"...

27.7.05 - Handsome

16.7.06 - Perth Zoo

Our second trip to the zoo. Joey did a lot of running around and climbing up to see stuff - not really interested in the animals just yet tho!

12.7.06 - Hoodie

A chilly morning, but Joey is having fun kicking the ball around the back yard, and clapping himself (and saying "yay") every time.

6.11.05 - ArtEyes Picnic

The inaugural ArtEyes Picnic in Kings Park. Joey has a great time while daddy gets sunburnt frying sausages at the BBQ.

5.11.05 - Standing Hands Free!

16 months: Joseph stands up without holding on for the first time.

12.10.05 - Meelup, WA

Granny and Joey look at shells on the beech at Meelup on our camping trip (minus daddy who had to work).

3.10.05 - Cousins

Alexis and Joey with my sister's children: Nick, Zac, Dan & Jenny

19.9.05 - Tigger Hugs

Nothing so cute as a sleeping child...

9.9.05 - Headstand

This is a big thing right now - doing headstands like this. Sometimes mum helps me do the whole somersault, but I like doing this in any case!

8.9.05 - Popoff & Joey

20.8.05 - Griffen's Birthday Party

Almost 14 months old, crawling at last, loving all this energy! And the hair is beginning to return.

31.7.05 - Crackers!

5.7.05 - Skinny

Cancer free, 1yr 1wk old. Bald as an eagle and still sporting the port in his side, but smiling as usual.

19.6.05 - Sleepy Docker

29.5.05 - Baldie

At 11months, the chemo has pretty well halted all gross motor development, but we're still smiling and having fun - Joey slept in this basket as a newborn, with room to spare!

3.4.05 - Lake Monger

A happy boyo, despite the chemo.

1.3.05 - Bandage Off

Poor Joey is a bit groggy from the GA, but the swelling isn't too bad and as usual, he's totally good natured about all this nastiness.

28.2.05 - Surgery Day

Dad puts on a brave face as we wait with Joey for his enucleation.

10.11.04 - Christmas Card Shoot

Who me?

10.11.04 - Christmas Card Shoot

Ho Ho Ho!

28.8.04

Posing for the camera...

7.7.04

First bath at home.

27 June 2004

A star is born...

Joey Headlines

Joey has been accepted by the LDC (Learning Development Centre) Kindergarten in Ridgewood (about 5 minutes drive from home) for 2008.  This is brilliant as it is a school specialising in language development for kids with significant language delays who have normal or above intelligence - which is Joey all over!

He will be attending on Thursdays and Fridays (same days Alexis should be working) which is good for me (mum) as I'll only have Lucy during quartet rehearsals on Thursdays.
